COVID Policy and Updates
Unfortunately, we're in an upward wave. I'm still open, but I'm asking my clients to make sure they are booking appointments with everyone's health in mind.
Our health as a community is my first priority.
I have been tightening up my COVID protocol as the numbers are rising. But just to keep you informed, these have not changed:
Face masks are mandatory for both the therapist and client for the entirety of every treatment
The massage room's air is circulated for a full 30 minutes between clients
Every touch surface is sanitized
Air purifier remains on all day
Payments are as contactless as they can be
Clients enter and exit directly from the parking lot to avoid contact with gym members
As the holidays approach, please consider how you may be affecting your community, specifically small businesses, as your social choices and plans evolve.
I may not remain open if the number of infections rises to a level that I determine increases personal or community risk.
If you are socializing or spending holidays unmasked indoors with people you don't live with, eating indoors with people you don't live with or engaging in any other higher risk activities, please do not schedule a massage between 11/27 and 12/11.
More annoying stuff but equally important notices:
Massage/bodywork is not appropriate care for infectious or contagious illness.
COVID-19 Related Cancellations: I have relaxed the 24-hour cancellation policy when it comes to reasons related to Covid-19. If a client feels at any point before the start of their appointment that they have become a potential risk, they will not be charged for canceling. I respectfully ask that clients let me know as soon as issues arise.
